...
one of the things which I really had to accustom to -when I moved to Antwerp
was the missing clocks
in Switzerland they are everywhere
not only in train stations and on churches
maybe that's why I'm not that much on time anymore:-)

mountain craft
...
In the house we found old carpets
still not sure if they are really from this area, look kind of marrocan also, but how could they get there?
surely handwoven, wool from sheeps, hair from goats maybe
plant dyed
in the brockenhaus in Chur they had this nice pottery
I'm also in love with my cup, found in the basement of the house
before whole western society was drinking latte macchiato
there was just Milchkaffi in Switzerland or also called Schale, 'cause it was mostly served in a big bowl
drunk as a regular drink with quite heavy food

sonnenschirm
...
years before iced cappucino there was Yogidrink Mocca or Himbeer
I only got it from my neighbour not from my mother
even as a child I liked the parasol a lot
so many childhood memories and I'm happy that some things still exist
like the "Stängeliglacé" from Gasparini

Roggenbrot & Hot pepper sauce
...
once a year I cook hot pepper sauce
and it lasts for one year 'cause it's really hot
while cooking I had too sniff and cough a lot
recipe:
200 gr chillis
1dl apple vinegar
2-3 garlic
sugar
sea salt
laurel
clove
I put the chillis in the oven for about 10 minutes, put them hot in a plastic bag, close it, let cool a little and then peel them.
Put everything in a pan and cook for about 5 minutes. Mix it, cook again for some minutes and pour them in jars.
Baking bread needs patience and strong hands-but it's worth it.

on or in fashion
...
lately I'm a little bit lazy with posting
it's not that I don't discover but it's not always worth to post it directly
by attending the wedding
everybody was occupied with questions about what to wear
what works for me the best is combining vintage pieces with something new
to break the "old-fashioned" look
what's in now are the forties like in uk vogue issue August
but were midi skirts out of fashion ever?
don't think so, they're just too feminine to ever get out
and in fact
nothing can be out
'cause the person who wears it, makes the pieces in again
personal style is always in
that's what fashion should be
...
the most beautiful sandals I ever had:
Céline
perfectly made
nice box and good quality of shoebag
nothing cheap about it
worth the price tag
red hair beauty via style bubble studio sober

glimpses of paradise
...
It's not often that I attend weddings
this weekend was the wedding from Marisa & Stijn
a huge celebration in the countryside of Belgium
it was very beautiful
everybody did their best to look gorgeous
and dance their feet wound
I finally could wear one of my furcapes
and I have to say: it's so cousy
