white dream

I was off for one week without my computer
till the last moments I was working on the weddingdress for my friend R.
it's a while ago that I sew Haute Couture like dresses

Satin - Vintage 50ies fabric from Switzerland
Lace - Guipure lace from Schläpfer St. Gallen
Jacket - raw silk from a collection from Veronique Branquinho
Bag - Boxcalf in white

the dress is inspired by the Sixties with a contemporary touch
different shades of white also here

the wedding was in Thun and Brienz in "Berner Oberland"

sheeps cloth

in May and June the sheeps have to get sheared
but nobody wants to have the black colored wool
normaly they throw it away
F. brought me one fleece of one black sheep
I washed it and want to use it for stuffing my cusions
it would be such a pitty to throw this fantastic material away

bread & try outs

with breadmaking it's just with every craftmanship
the results get better by making mistakes and improving myself
after another rye sourdough some weeks ago
I baked yesterday my first "Levain de campagne" bread
a white sourdough bread
and I'm really happy with the result
I couldn't resist to taste it this morning
it was actually a surprise for A. who will visit me for some days

Recently I tried out as well a japanese pastry

color was great but taste hm...

we gave it finally to the birds!

instead there was contemporary art all over the church

I was 36 hours in Paris
to realize how busy this city is
how nice the backyards and staircases can be
to find out that vintage is deffinitly less expensive in Belgium
-who wants to pay 1350.- euros for a 70ies Gucci leather coat where they dismanteled the collar and glued it back together-
to finally get up early to find the way to the Puces de Vanves
to eat too much Falafel in the Marrais
to be together with A. B. and R.
